The exhibition and publication of Millennia: Asian Art through the Ages was planned to present some of the finest and most interesting Asian works of art in the collection of the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria, to reveal to the general public the essence and unique artistic achievements of the various civilizations of Asia.

Communities & Collections Series: Dr. Fuyubi Nakamura on the Emerging Roles of Artists as Cultural Translators
This new Gallery program consists of a series of lectures, tours, interactive programs and workshops with guest facilitators and speakers that will animate aspects of our diverse permanent collections. The first in this series will coincide with our exhibition Millennia: Asian Art through the Ages.
The Bomfords tap into their Inner Child at Family Sunday
by Audrey Wang, AGGV Volunteer Every third Sunday from October to June, the Gallery’s Family Sunday Program welcomes guest artists and promotes a hands-on introduction to art. On November 20, the event was inspired by the collaborative work of Vancouver Island based artists Jim, Nathan and Cedric Bomford.
