Nancy Fraser
Nancy Fraser’s pottery is a long time staple in the Gallery Shop; however, no two pieces are ever alike as she continues to explore the many facets of what clay can offer.
Creative expression is an important part of Nancy’s life, as a serendipitous event over 40 years ago provided her with the opportunity to live in a 500-year-old farmhouse in Tuscany and experience the joy of working with clay.
Nancy’s pottery is functional and decorative, and inspired by the rustic. Her work embodies the concept of wabi sabi, with each one-of-a-kind piece being unique due to the differences. Perfection in replication is not the goal in her handmade work, as she is constantly evolving her work and herself.
Donna Kwasnicki
Donna Kwasnicki’s work is featured in the Gallery Shop and in the Art Rental + Sales as part of the Small Works program. Donna has become an in-demand artist as her unique collage works stimulate the mind, the heart, and conversations.
An Ontario transplant, Donna has made the island home, and her recent work embody her island lifestyle, and her view of sun rise on the water. Donna combines her background in art with her body work practice as a cranial sacral therapist and as a result, her work brings forth deep emotion and lends itself to healing.

Linda Rajotte
Linda was born in BC and taught mathematics at UBC, she, however, now calls Victoria home. Her work is informed by distinct design, logarithmic spirals, and the synergy of nature. Since 2004, her passion for the arts has dominated her desire to create, as she explores the properties of silver, gold, and copper as part of her jewellery designs.
Concerned with touch and form, she is inspired by ammonite fossils, shells, and sunflowers, and her unique creations are all sculpturally designed. Using techniques such as chainmail and handweaving, her award-winning pieces come in a variety of shapes and sizes and are recognized by locals, as being created by someone who truly loves what they are doing.
We have extremely talented individuals on the Island, and the Galley Shop is always on the lookout for long-time or up-and-coming artists to join us in the Gallery Shop.
