During her stay, Meryl McMaster delivered a public talk at the University of Victoria, for the Visual Arts Department’s Living Artists, Living Art program, where audiences gathered to hear her reflect on her practice, creative process, and the ideas shaping her latest body of work.
The following day, she met with UVic MFA students, guiding them through the exhibition at the AGGV. Her visit concluded with an in-depth discussion at the AGGV alongside exhibition co-curator Tarah Hogue, offering yet another perspective on the themes behind Meryl McMaster: Bloodline.
