This fall, AGGV Curator of Asian Art, Dr. Heng Wu, spoke at the 8th annual Forum for Curators of Chinese Art in Hong Kong. The forum, entitled ‘Transcending Boundaries: Towards a New Era of Curating Chinese Art’, brought together Chinese Art curators and professionals from museums and art institutions around the world.
KENT MONKMAN – A NEW AQUISITION FOR THE AGGV
We are delighted to announce that the AGGV has acquired an exceptional work by renowned Cree artist, Kent Monkman. This is the first work by Monkman to enter the AGGV collection and the piece is now on display in our current exhibition In the Flesh: The Nude in Art, Past and Present.
